Every life matters! Our coffees are bird friendly and bee friendly

At Fine and Speciality every life matters! We grow our coffees with careful agricultural practices using integrated pest management to ensure that every life in our gardens plays its role.

You will find all sorts of insects and birds in our coffee gardens, ensuring bird friendly coffee and sustainable coffee. Pollination is vital to our coffee so looking after the bees are essential!

For every ounce of honey, a life is sustained and/or saved.

Fine and speciality Robusta varieties Nganda, Erecta and Riberica and Arabica varieties: SL14, 28 and 34 all benefit from the gloriously high altitudes resulting in over 80% of our exquisite coffees cupping above 80.

All our coffees are traceably single origin, producing unique micro-lots, from as little as 10 bags to 1 box (320 bags) per year. Our full focus is on attaining certification: 4C, Rainforest Alliance, Forest Grown, Bee Friendly Farming and Bird Friendly, contributing to the reduction of biodiversity loss at regional and national levels.

It is our aim to not only contribute directly to poverty alleviation but to benefit all life on Earth.
